Hardcore deathmatch?

Recently tried playing hardcore deathmatch, it's a totally different game for me.

Much much better in my opinion.

Does anyone else play hardcore?

Totally agree mate. By far superior to the normal mode imo.

Just gutted that IW failed to include Hardcore FFA.

Yeah that would have been good.

I guess they are aiming at more casual players.

I'm just surprised how different the game is, I'm well happy as my controller was gonna through the wall before I tried it.

I can't go back to normal matches now.

True.

The games to me are more tense and captivating if you like. The only drawback is the occasional 15 second respawn time.

I think there should be hardcore for all game modes TBH.

I enjoy HC better than the normal modes. And HC S&D is normally my preferred game. Until i get idiots on there who just use the noob tube from the start and spoil it.

You always get idiots, but so far there are less idiots on there.

Even the people in the lobby aren't as mouthy.

And while some people say hardcore has more camping, in my opinion it's a different sort of camping.

I love that people die in less shots, normal deathmatch is ridiculous.

on cod4 i only played hardcore in the end!

it makes you a better player and you don't spend half the time looking at your uav. Instead you look around and pay attention to whats infront.

downsides to hardcore are sometime you get idiots who decide to wipe out half their own team at the start of every round(s&d). or sometimes if you accidentally kill someone on your team they then start a holy war against you by stabbing/shooting you every round.

Wow I just tried a couple of goes of hardcore TDM. Everyone just camps! with the ninja-pro/cold-blooded perks on. The 2nd game in terminal i thought ok then and i just ran between the top of the escalators and the other side with the entrance to the plane. Got a sentry gun after 4 kills as was using hardline which helped vover the plane side whilst i concentrated on the escalators and corridor. Got Pavelow up and all was going well but when I got the chopper gunner up the airspace was too crowded. This is a good thing in my opinion that you can only have one vehicle in the air but didn;t help me as when i finally got my chopper gunner up i ran out of time on a 21 - 0 killstreak

I got 4 challenges and 18,650 XP surviving for 5 minutes, surviving a whole game without dying, MVP and k/d ratio of 5:1.

Was good fun and i do prefer the concept of hardcore but I can't be doing with all that camping on a non objective based game!

Was slow going last night but in the end I was really enjoying the Hardcore playlists. Its not new to me as I played plenty on MW1 but making the switch from regular TDMs takes time to adjust. I don't find my kills and death counts that much different once things settle down.
