i understand there's no "private chat" allowed in the CoD game now.

however, if i mute all players (other than a mate) are they able to hear us talk?
obv we wont hear them screeching in our ears.. but can they still hear us?

if not will be ideal for us.. we both used to have previous CoD games on 360 and would often just go private chat and sit in a game and chat about .. well anythign really.. were old friends.. we'll run around together but dont really talk about the game (other than laugh at how each other has just died!)

.. actually i guess we cant stop the non-comms people from hearing us chat then? .. so its not a good solution as im sure us blabbing on about work will p*ss a few people off when they are trying to listen to enemy footsteps!

anyone found a way to do private type chat in game?

I thought that they could still hear you but I mentioned this to IndecisiveJay and he said that a few of the Crap Clan guys had tested it. They found that it blocked comms both ways.

... just prob best we dont discuss anything sensitive incase big brother does manage to listen somehow
