....if you have consistently bad games?

Flew into a bit of a rage today! I've played awful for the past 2 days, I think it comes from playing it too much.

Winds me though when you're rubbish.

Nobody likes playing awful but most the time it's because we are playing better players but don't like to admit it .

The only thing that winds me up a little is lag. Especially if I've unloaded a good few rounds into someone and they kill me.

I try not to get too wound up now though .... after all it's only a game

I don't usually get mad but it is annoying when things aren't going well. I just get drunk!

If it made me angry I'd stop playing.

If I keep getting killed then it's usually my own fault (bad aim, not checking the corners, running around in the open when there's snipers about, etc.) so I try to concentrate a bit more, or change my playing style, or pick another profile.

Can't say I've really got angry either. I find lag (when your man is jumping around) strangely surreal so don't mind watching it for a few seconds before quitting the game lol

One thing I find odd though, is the grenade launchers on guns, they hit me and I die, but they don't explode, its like some one lobbed a stone at me and killed me lol. Its funny watching that on the killcam, makes my death look really pathetic lol.

I can understand if the OP's trying really hard and gets mad because it doesn't go his way though. I'd be like that in other things probably, just not with games.

I never get mad, angry etc in any game bar football games (only against my brothers/friends etc. but that is because we really, REALLY rub it in, I give as good as I get here ) And I never do anything silly or violent.

We do have a member of GEN1 that apparently kicked the PS3 in rage ad caused it to shut off yesterday , I will leave that to your imagination of who it might be.

I've noticed that genade thing as well! I haven't been killed by it but I have shot them at people and wondered why they haven't exploded.

I think I get annoyed because I'm too competitive when it comes to games. I quit playing football for ages because I'd get angry at being so rubbish!

The thing is, I think I should just turn it off if I am playing bad all the time but I know that good round is just round the corner and it's so satisfying when you play like Rambo

I get mildly annoyed at most. Never spitting angry and I've never broken a controller in my life playing anything.

I have a friend who actually smashed his PS2 up while increasingly frustrated at Pro Evo 5 back in the day! I could never get to that level.

Most of the time, I'm mad at myself for rushing, forgetting the basics. If I'm playing badly, generally it's because I'm not concentrating or enjoying it so I go an do something else or put another game in if I'm still in the mood.

Can understand frustration but not pure anger at a video game.

i get annoyed sometime if i keep dying.. but i wouldnt go as far as throwing things around maybe i like to take care of my stuff

The grenade has to go a certain distance before it arms itself to explode. Still funny when you take someone out with the round from a couple of metres away though, but annoying when it happens to you. In answer to the original question, I get very frustrated sometimes and use a lot of colourful language, much to the disgust of the missus.

Unfortunately I do get angry, most of the time at myself for swinging a knife when aiming, not aiming fast enough the list is endless and for the guys who hide between the forklift trucks and crates waiting for silly me to walk past, aarrgghh!. All due to my own short comings, apart from the campers

That's actually really worrying, he's got some real mental issues, if it's real!

When I was younger used to chuck my ps2 controllers around, broke a few. These days, they're too expensive,so I just turn it off!

I get angry not at all, if anything the opposite. My stupidity usually has me chuckling to myself If the result had any bearing to something in real life than maybe I would take it serious but once I turn my PS3 off how I did in the game has no effect.

On another note I wish people would stop posting that video. Whilst I wouldn't say he suffers from special needs it's very clear he has social problems as well as problems expressing himself. Bit irresponsible to let him play a game that can trigger such a strong reaction, almost as much as posting a video like that for entertainment purposes.

I'm hanging on in there at the moment. I'm an avid CoD fan but played the game on the PC for years. I bought MW2 for the PS3 because a) my computer needs upgrading and b) all my friends have the PS3 version.

I'm not getting too mad atm because I'm still learning the maps. Its clear I'm just wondering around aimlessly most of the time because of poor map knowledge. Granted this will only get better if I play more but I haven't played it that much since release. Other friends on my list have put hours and hours into it and I sometimes wonder, where do you get the time?

My kdr at the moment is a **** poor 0.70. I'm struggling with the joypad, I won't go on about it too much because its a problem I've got rather than a problem with the game. But only PC gamers will know the frustration it causes. I used to run a clan back in the day on PC and my CoD skills where up there with the best. With a joypad, by the time I have centred my xhair I'm dead. Like I said, I need to give it time but it isn't any fun when you finish each map near the bottom.

I permanantly have potty mouth when dying as i've always been cheated when i die.

But if you find i'm quiet then i'm on a killstreak lol.

I do swear at the screen alot but all words said are more in frustration with myself and are never meant at the other person.....UNLESS its the old full magazine and no kill trick or a camper not taking part in the game mode in hand and are setting up their 1 man tent for the day. Thats when i just get downright nasty lol.

TBH tho i think i get more lively playing a game on its hardest difficulty and dying over and over at the same part. I have smashed a controller doing this. ala COD WAW Relentless on veteran. Quick self repair worked thankfully. And the sessions with the shrink are going well.

OMG, that's fantastic, just had eveyone in the office here laughing at that video.

MW2 does seem to be bringing out the worse in me unlike any previous CODs. Constantly dying does tend to get my blood boiling and expletives will fly, much to the missus' disgust!

A week on though and some improvement is being made now certain maps are becoming more familiar. Most of the time though I'm just getting angry at myself for walking straight into the danger zone without thinking.

I haven't smashed a controller in anger since the days of Streetfighter on my SNES - progress!

i was getting a bit annoyed at myself last night. i was very very good at COD4. just cant seem to get going on this one at all. it does get frustrating getting mullered constantly. i'll get better though.

the only time ive smashed a controller in to a hundred pieces was playing the origonal stuntman game on ps2. omg the final level! took me ages! a controller perished because of it

I fit in the frustration 'this-game-is-going-back' camp. The games is kinda soul destroying if your on a loosing streak...

Some games though, i find in the last quater i pick it up, get a few kills, coulple of two, maybe three kill streaks and i forget about the bad times...

Then it starts all over again...

To be honest, I questioned the reality of that video when I saw it. Mind you, he must be a bit mental to punch the walls like that.
