Care Packages

had a game earlier and the funniest thing happened........the care package fell on me and killed me

still laughing about it now

has this happened to anyone else?

Yep, happened to me once and someone stole my AC130. Gutted.

There's a challenge for getting the last kill of the game by dropping a care package on an enemy, think that'll be more luck than skill to pull that one off.

I heard about this before I even got MW2, so I am extra wary.

I did have to laugh the other day when I called in a care package.. I backed off but someone else was hovering around trying to steal it.. I kept my distance, but they stood directly by the flare when BAM it fell right on them.

I got my package and all they got was death

Still not as great when he was defending a flag, flashbanged himself then got it handed to him

What is funnier is the amount of idiots who try and get them dropped inside buildings. They just end up wasted up high on a roof or on top of somewhere you can get to.

This happened to me the first time I got the Air Bag, like an idiot I was stood on the red gas, and another time i through the red gas bomb far away and it ended up landing on a roof where no one could get to it!

Had this happen too! Had so many people take my packages if I'm under fire and can't chase to collect it instead of actually helping me out!!

I forget the map, but I called one in, that then rolled down a hill and killed me.

I was chatting to one of my mates in the pub on Friday, and he was thinking it was a special grenade so every time he got a care package, he was throwing the flair at the enemy :D

I managed get my bearings slightly wrong in Terminal and ended up with the care package on top of the cockpit...damn

I think I read somewhere the AC130 is the highest reward from a care package.

There is a challenge in humiliation I think where you have to kill an enemy with a care package. That's going to be difficult!

I've managed to dodge all of mine at the moment. Gets harder when you call in an emergency airdrop

I managed to drop one on Slinky's head the other night.

You'd think he'd avoid the red smoke before I end his 15 or something streak

Anyhow stopped using it now for the 7 11 25 rewards as it takes too long to come down only to get shot in the back and some barsteward to nick it lol

Im so upset as I have pulled it off but I didnt have humiliation unlocked at the time

I was playing sabotage the other team were trying to defuse the bomb so I threw it near the bomb and took cover and it worked to perfection

I didnt know they could kill until reading on here about it but i have noticed they hit the floor with a great whack sometimes.
Ive always threw the signal flair a safe distance away!

I've managed to get killed by my own twice so far, got an AC130 from an enemy one but didn't know *** i was doing with it and got 1 kill from it.

Done exactly the same. Couldn't figure out what gun I was using and why it wasn't firing on the person I was aiming at. Wasn't quite the same as MW1, everything just seem to take longer to happen.

My last 8 care packages have been Ammo!

Made even better by the fact I've got the scavenger perk enabled!!! Might as well contain tea & bloody crumpets!

i've only managed to get one care package stuck on top of something, i was outside and didn't know there was a bridge above me.

anyone try shooting a care package down when it gets stuck?

also i shot down a care package copter but they still got their package, it is far too quick to take down before the drop.
