What are the best killstreaks, what are you using?

I am using

5 Kills - Predator Missile

7 Kills - Attack Heli

11 Kills - AC-130

9 kills Pavelow

11 kills AC-130

next unlock will be nuke

Well there's no way im getting close to a streak of 11, so am using:

4 - Care Package
5 - Predator
7 - Harrier Strike

And then keep my fingers crossed I get Chopper Gunner, AC130 or Pave Low in a care package.

If I am Nuke hunting, or its a game I think will be an easy win (ie. playing with fellow GEN1) then I use this set up:

7 - Harrier
11 - Chopper Gunner
25 - Nuke

If playing the harder/frustrating games/S&D/FFA, or playing solo:

3 - UAV / 4 - Air Drop
7 - Harrier
11 - Chopper Gunner

PS. If anyone plans to use a nuke against me then good luck, you will have to work for it as I shoot down anything (bar UAV) in the sky

Predetor Strike -Easy kill unless you have **** ****** (not naming perk) perk on

Emergeny Air Drop - a lucky bag of guddys

Has anyone tried the "emergency drop"? 4 random killstreaks and ammo - does it drop these all in one go or can you select them one by one?

Also, something I spotted last night (not 100% sure if this is correct as I was a bit busy at the time) - if you get a UAV for example, don't use it but get a few more kills to qualify for another killstreak eg. harrier strike and use that, then you've still got the UAV to use afterwards.

It drops them all in one go. It's like christmas has come early

And yes, you can pile up your killstreaks in this game. I normally let mine pile up in demolition games and then release hell all at once!

I think the order for nuke might have to change soon to Pave Low, Chopper Gunner, Nuke. Harriers get shot down straight away if the opposite team are half good!!

Thats if it hasn't killed you from the other side of the map already

Care packages are wasted on me, as I just can't find a quiet space to have it drop and then retrieve it, plus I always seem to get 'resupply'

Exactly the same. Used the sentry gun on S&D yesterday, stick that in a choke point = loadsa kills

I always switch to my heavy gunner class and use the AT4-HS to bomb down something in the sky and then RPD to shoot it down

At the moment i am using:

This has been my set up for a few days now and i think this is about all i will manage, once i have a predator missile, if i can manage 2 kills with that and get the harrier usually you will get to 11 kills, however because the harrier just hovers it can be shot down very easily (but on some maps it is very effective)

How do you unlock the killstreak options, most of mine are locked at the moment, only got 5 to choose from.

They are unlocked as you level up.

it says at the top right how many levels are required to the next unlock.

i am currently level 29 and have to wait until 35.

So is it better to use the Pave low? That got me quite a few kills when I got it from a care package!

yeah, they are armoured.

5 - Predator (almost guaranteed 1 kill, usually 2, which gives)
7 - Harrier (if the bombing doesn't get you 2 kills the guns should, which gives)
9 - Big helicopter (run at the same time as the harrier and your kills just keep mounting up)

-1 if you run the hardline perk.

Might go for one of the sit in ones sometime. Just want to try and win at the moment, and the above setup usually gets things going. Great to clear the area in domination or rank up a good score in deatmatch.

Don't see the point of a nuke as it ends the game. where's the fun in that, plus it doesn't annoy people as much as running the harrier and copter at the same time. brrrr..oh 100points....brrrrrr...oh another.....brrrrrr.....yeah.....brrrrr...i'm usually grinning at this point, then it carries on and I get shot from lack of concentration from laughing. respawn, brrrr....oh another 100 points.

think it's great how you can call in a copter and a harrier at the same time, you just see 100 pop up every 2 seconds. Surprised not many people shoot them down.

Does keeping the kill streak perks you've acquired and using them when you next respawn count towards getting more kill streak perks again like it did in COD4? (i.e if you had a Sentry Gun, and it got you 3 kills, would you get a UAV available?)
