Hi Guys, im having a problem joing my freinds games or partys etc, my freinds are inviting me to join but i dont get any indication on my screen that they have done so or no option to join them....it isnt until i close down the game and see that i have LOADS of messages in my freinds list all requesting i join? what am i doing wrong

Do you not get the standard PSN message received indicator come up in the corner of your screen, you can then use the ingame XMB to access the message which will have a join option.

hillskill?????...and no im not getting any message in the top right corner to say a message is recieved....this could be the problem then, is there an option i change somewhere to get this message?

I scan read the thread and thought this was another thread about the borked invite issues so I was going to close it. On reading it a second time I realised I was being hasty and left it open

I Know there's an option to turn off the notification of people who have come online or offline, i'd suggest having a butchers at the settings. It may be something you turned off without even reaslising?!

Also you should start a chat and invite your friends to it, that way you can ask for an invite and people can tell you they've invited you etc...Thats what alot of us tend to do plus its good to have some banter between games too!!

With you guys was the first time I ever used the text chat feature. I thought it worked really well.

It works great, sometimes you may get kicked from a game or need to go make a brew etc so you may leave the party for 5 mins but once your back all it takes is a request for an invite in the chat and you'll get one! Plus the banter between a few lads on here is comical
