No I have not prestiged yet, and I won't for a long time, but I remember someone saying you would get something special, not just a new badge. So what is it? Just another custom slot or something better?

If its nothing worth prestiging for then i'll be staying on 70 when i get there.

Saying that. I've got just under 2 years worth of playing to go yet so might just do it.

Due to the amount of dying i am experiencing, for me to reach level 70 people will be playing a new COD World War 3 game based on actual historical events

If you unlock the bandolier perk with this skin does the bikini top get replaced by a couple of coils of rounds alá Jodie Marsh .

But there would be no fun in that, everyone else gets to look at you. It would be better if it turned everyone else into naked women!

The fact that nobody has been on here to say what you get for prestiging makes me think that it is nothing worth having.

Re: MW2 Prestige

I think I read when you have done your first prestige it's and extra slot and new callsigns/titles.

I'm going to Prestige, just level 52 now but it's taking forever to rank now.

There was a guy yesterday who was level 60 odd on his first prestige

There are plenty of people who are simply professional rankers

They spend there whole time in 1 v 1 matches or domination matches with fellow rankers taking turns at head shots etc

Personally I like playing with others rather than ranking on my own

I've come across whole games of rankers before, it was quite common in cod waw, people used to go into a domination game and altenate in capturing 'b' they where ranking all over the show. I was quite surprised to see lot's of people ranking together in a public match, i thought that ranking was done in private.

Yep - I've come across that a couple of times too - I managed to really upset a load of rankers like that by cooking a grenade off at the side & then running into the middle of them so it blows up in their faces

The abuse I got from them all was unbelievable

ive been trying to rank for ages, still only on 9. I seem to struggle to fire off before others. Is that because my weapon is sluggish or just lag?

Weird, I had that problem, I tend to find COD is really inconsistent, one time I'll have a really sticky round and not manage to shoot off at anything before they've shot me (or, more usually I get totally shot all over the place from behind ) . BUT the very next round I can have a really good one and come first every time.

As to the issue of ranking I have been doing a lot of that just lately to be honest but by doing that I did go from 5 to 9 quite quickly. I will stop though when my fingers get too sore

It seems much harder to level up in MW2 than it did in COD4, or maybe it's me getting shot to bits more this time around......

I don't like to rank - it feels wrong doing it with everybody else who's sole intention is to rank and not the objectives of the game.

I much prefer a good private session full of easy going people I know.
