Confusion on Multiplayer - help & Advice plz

Hey there people, Have to say MW2, yes worth everyone penny (not £45 or any higher thought, lol)

Just started playing multiplayer yesterday after installing Patch 1.03, but seeing as this is so much more advanced than the 1st game, multiplayer has gotten a little confusing.

want to know:

1) Death Perk - Are these as the title says, perks you only get if you die a lot of the time??, not other way you can get them??

2) Killstreaks help - In MW u could get things at 3, 4, and 5 killstreaks not higher, is this the same in MW2 and what do u get in each streak - all i know is with 3 kills u still get a uav, lol

Any help with teh above people, i'm sure i'll have some more questions but thats it for now, lol

1) You can only get deathstreaks through being killed a certain amount of times in a row.

2) There are now a number of killstreak rewards from UAV and care packages to Harriers and armoured choppers. If you manage a 25 kill streak then you can release a nuke (providing you have unlocked it and equipped it in your perk list.)

5 Kills - Predator Missile

Click on the bit that says kill streaks on the main multiplayer page. You can then select which ever ones you want (as long as you have unlocked them)

You die a lot more in this compared to cod4 due to weapon power/long range kills/airstrikes etc or is that just me

Steviegall has it unlocked and last night in a game got up to 24 kills. Before i knifed him in the back.

As you can imagine i got some abuse. And i now also fear the repurcussions lol.

Just want to say, the Famas what a ****** gun, 3 rounds a min,

.

Also poeple the scavenger perk is it any good??

I mean if you dont have it does that mean you don't automatically collect ammo from the other guns???

Also what does blast shield do in equipment??, using it in the automatically created riot shield class, and don;'t know what it does, lol
