I agree, it's a stupid addition to the game! Hopefully if enough people complain about it, Infinity Ward will release a patch to enable us to turn it off.

Re: is there anyway to turn the blood splatter off

I just thought it was a natural update to the "red" screen you got before. Similar effect happens in Killzone 2, how did everyone feel about that ? Shouldn't players be at a dis-advantage if losing health ?

It would block more than just your vision if your shed that much bloody in real life ... count yourself lucky that you can still run & gun

Re: is there anyway to turn the blood splatter off

i would have preferred it if they had made the effects similar to flash/stun nades

but you'd have the screen go darker, lose orientation a bit (like stun?) and go a bit slo-mo.. so a couple more shots and you'd die anyway (where the screen completely blacks out)

would just feel more realistic to play if it were something like that. If i had as much blood splattered in my eyes as is currently done then surely i'd be dead anyway.

Re: is there anyway to turn the blood splatter off

Perhaps the screen should go brown as you disgrace yourself and ruin your underpants after being shot?

I'd wipe the blood from my eyes/face so a red smear would be left on the screen.

Re: is there anyway to turn the blood splatter off

I like the effect to be honest, even though it is usually followed by a thousand bullets then death

I liked the effect at first, but wonder if it may wear thin during hours and hours of MP.
