Question a little enlightenment please

hi everyone,

Just a quick one;

I have attempted to find out what the best av sender type is. I have tried several different kinds of av sender/reciever and had none or little luck. My latest version have been the simple all in one scart units, which i must say have been the most successful however did cost £50. I am not certain but i believe this to be the upper end of the 2.4 Ghz market.

My main question I suppose is, does anyone rate the 5.8 Ghz sender/reciever units?

I am researching because;

A. I am too tight to part with £60+ on the basis it might solve the problem.

B. Of all my stress levels i'd say 80% is caused by running up and down stairs to try and increase my signal and i fear for my bedroom tv's life

And finally C. I am worried it will be a massive con like optical/TOSlink cables with gold tipped ends for £60

Thanks to anyone who may help and please feel free to whine about the same problem, it would cheer me up to think i am not alone.
