Question Video from AVI files on HDTV - How??

I have AVI files that I have downloaded and burned from DVDs. I wanted to watch them on my 52" HDTV. The files are on my PC and NAS, but how can I play them on my TV and use my home receiver to upscale the signal?

You would be better posting on the PC forums, but if you have TV out on your PC then just then just connect PC to TV

There are some good upscaling DVD players out (I have a LG one) that have a USB port. You just connect an external drive or USB stick containing the AVI file and you can play it.
