I have got a prob with my + box, it seems to show that it has limited space avail on it even though it is empty, would it be poss that my apple time machine is effecting this , also is there a way to format the drive so it shows as empty.

Hi,

Your available recording space also takes in to account any future scheduled recordings. If you delete everything you have recorded and cancel any schedules, this will show the maximum available time. It is not possible to format the drive. However, this should not be necessary.
