I have Tiscali TV and am currently very happy with the service I get - I however have a problem with my box - it seems I can't watch other programmes when I'm recording another and have to watch the one's I'm recording - is this correct ? I have the tiscali + box, but read on another forum that there is a twin freeview in the box and I should be able to record upto 3 programmes while watching one.. Am I doing something wrong ?

let me know mate

OK, I have to ask this, do you have a freeview ariel plugged in to the set to box?

Re: FAO MK Brett

You need to set up DTT scanning I think... Go in to the setup menu and you'll see it as an option. The box will then use your UHF aerial to scan for other channels. Once this is done, you can record on two and watch on a third. Well, that's the theory anyway. It doesn't always function correctly!

Re: FAO MK Brett

Are you saying that the Tiscali+ box cannot record 2 programs simultaneously from Tiscali TV? Or that one cannot watch one channel and record another via Tiscali TV? That one must have Freeview tuned in as well?

Oh damn, that defeats the object of me getting the box, I've got Freeview twin tuners galore already

Just found this review, which could be helpful as info is so difficult to find on Tiscali.co.uk and the Forums seem to exclude tech-related discussion:

http://www.techradar.com/products/au...-370504/review

It seems that the UK's inadequate phone lines mean that only one channel at a time can be received via broadband
