My mum got tiscali tv installed this week, its the black box with the green square on the front.
She didn't know you could upgrade to a PVR for £50, the salesperson at Tiscali never mentioned it, so I was suprised that the instruction book describes the box as tiscali+ and tells you how to use the PVR functionality, as expected this functionality doesn't work on the box.

Can anyone tell me is this box a PVR box, that just needs Tiscali to enable it i.e. pay £50 or do we really need an engineer to come out and replace it with a new PVR box?


We've rang Tiscali and nobody seems to know anything about Tiscali+ and its PVR functionality!

Hi,

You can upgrade to the PVR in the My Account area of the Tiscali website. Once you've done this, they will send an engineer round with the new STB for you.
