tiscali tv and a dreambox dm500c

hi im considering upgrading to tiscali tv and i wanted to know whether a dreambox is compatible with tiscali's service or do i have to use a typical cable tv provider such as virgin for a dreambox to work?

tiscali is not cable tv company bud the video is transmitted over the phone line so I doubt it will work.
