I was wondering whether it is a good deal?



I know some people have had problems with Tiscale, poor customer service to name a few.



Does anybody have this package, their TV service?

I have the £14.99 package and think it's a very good deal. You can't argue with phone, broadband and basic tv for that price.

The service is good as long as you get the latest box (which you will seeing as you are going to be a brand new customer).

You need to get the Big Pack which adds an extra £10.00 to your subscription right off the bat. It includes all the channels you really want in the basic package like Sky One, Two, Three, Sky News, Sky Sports News, FX plus loads of others. So you are really talking £25.00 to get started.

If you want 8MB broadband instead of the basic 2MB then you pay another £3.00 which is worth it too... So you are now talking £28.00 per month. You can see how this escalates!

Sky Sports is now available too but, to be honest, it's not worth it as it costs an extra £26.50 for 1,2,3 and Extra.

Anyway, I like the service and would recommend it. Looking forward, there will be a pvr system as well as an HD option. I guess it all comes down to price comparisons versus Sky, Telewest, Virgin Media etc.

In conclusion then, the basic package is great value but like all things, you can whack it up and up and up quite quickly!

I just cancelled the services after 3 years... when it was Homechoice it was much better. Now it's as flakey as hell. They've oversold it so the band width just isn't there. Don't even think of watching something like the Rugby WOrld cup final on it..
