Virgin Media splitter. Need help

Hi,

I am a Virgin Media customer. I have a splitter to send my signal off to 2 things within my livingroom. The spiltter is installed next to my PC so i can get the broadband signal, and then the 2nd splitter signal send off to the other side of the room via the cable to go into the VBox.

My question is this:

I am looking to move my modem over to where my TV is and use my TV as my monitor now. Where my splitter is just now, would i need to somehow connect the 2 ends of the cable up that comes into the splitter and then goes off to the VBox. Or can i just remove the cable from the splitter that send to the modem and just buy a new splitter and attach it to the one that goes into the back of my VBox?

Sorry if that sounds a bit all over the place. But it's the best i can do.

Any help would be amazing, as all i am doing is looking to move my modem really. But don't know if having another splitter attached would do anything to the signal

Replace the splitter by the PC with a barrell (back to back F) and then move the splitter to the cable behind the TV. This way you shouldn't lose any signal.
