Bare TV cable wire

Hi I am a eastern US student in an apartment building. My TV cable is exposed in certain and I was wondering if it is ok for them to be like that or if it is a danger. I am getting a fine TV signal but the wires are exposed. Thank You.

Are you taking about the power cable or the co-ax carrying the signal?
