Router configuration

Hi. I wondered if anyone could give me some instructions on configuring my Linksys router to work with Tiscali TV so i don't have to use the rubbish speedtouch one that I got with it. I'm pretty sure it can be done as i've see other threads on a google search which suggest people have set it up to work with non tiscali supplied routers.
