Alternative HD PVR boxes for UPC in Netherlands

Hi,

I am currently using the standard black, UPC-supplied HD PVR box for receiving UPC cable TV in Amsterdam. However, I am not impressed with this box. The EPG and User interface is really very basic and poor.

Is it possible to use another HD PVR box for UPC?

Which HD PVR cable boxes can be used?
