BT/Virgin/O2 question

Hello all, would be great if someone had experience cancelling contracts with BT etc...

Currently I've the following setup:

02 Broadband - Contract ends November
BT Phone Line - Contract ends January 2010

I have Virgin TV on its own (L package) but would like to switch everything to them. I could get faster broadband, HD TV and a phone line with Virgin for the same price pretty much.

Can I cancel with BT any time before the 12 months? O2 allow it for a small fee.

Any thoughts on the best option?

What would it cost to simply add Virgin broadband and keep BT phone line?
