seen Tiscali at a relatives house for the first time - be great if somebody
could answer a few questions ?

they have the box with the green square on the front and a rather decent remote (to me anyway)

and broadband and free phone calls all for £25 - sounds good to me

Q) TV Pic quality - fair to say its freeview level ? - as its all down the phone line
i'm impressed myself

Q) is HD going to be possible and will it mean a new box ?

Q) Are there any Tiscali User Forums ?

Bit harsh. This forum wrt tiscali TV is all but dead.

There are other forums but they are all extremely slow. Not surprising when you consider tiscali tv only has about 60,000 users.

It is of a comparable standard yes

Currently the EPG is in HD format - I really am not in a position to comment on future plans for a full HD launch

Hd is possible but it will be a demand service and will not be channel format, bbc or itv hd ect ect the phone line just cant handle it.


This is what i have heard through various web sites take it as you wish
