Long RG-6 vs. Short RG-59 cable

I have two coaxial cables, a 4-foot RG-59 and a 25-foot quad-shielded RG-6. The 4 foot is long enough to go from my cable outlet to my TV. Would the considerably longer length of the RG-6 cable outweigh any benefits of using it? I have standard non-digital cable.

Re: Long RG-6 vs. Short RG-59 cable

you would be better off using the RG-59.

Cable loss in 4ft of RG-59 @ 600Mhz is approx 0.3 db

Cable loss in 25ft of RG-6 @ 600Mhz is approx 1.25 db
