picture aligment

I have a Daewoo CRT old TV and have just moved to my new home and had Virgin installed - mainly for the Internet as I am not a big TV person!
However now I have Virgin TV I feel I should use it over free view. I have a V+ box, the problem is that when there is writting that comes up on a program that is near either edge of the screen it hangs off the edge.
I was hoping that in the V box setup there would be an aligment option and I could just pull in the edges but no such luck!!

So how do I get the picture to correctly fit?

Thanks

Re: picture aligment

I'm assuming that your CRT is probably not a widescreen set ?. If that is so you need to go into the settings menu on the V+ and set it to 4:3.
