What is the best Cable Receiver

I have a live NTL line in my house and I would like to know the best box to get for receiving channels such as Sky Sports and Box office programs. I have done quite alot of searching but Im still not sure.

I have also come across how it is possible to get internet through my NTL line aswell, I would be really glad if somebody could explain more in depth on how this is possible or give me a link for somebody who has is explaining how this is done.

Thanks

Sign up at Virgin Media Shop - : Broadband, on-demand cable TV, home & mobile phones. Get the V+ if you want a HD-capable PVR, otherwise a standard V-box. You don't get a choice over the exact model you get but all the current boxes are sound.
