Remote help from Homechoice days?

Hi all!
Used to be with homechoice and jumped ship after the transfer to tiscali fiascos!
I have two of the old silver lovely remotes, which I intend to use with an HTPC.
(Homechoice) This is the one.
However I have thrown away all my HC manuals etc.
Does a kind soul here remember, or still has the HC manuals, and can look up and tell me how to programme this for other TVs etc?
Many thanks in advance!

Re: Remote help from Homechoice days?

Of course you search for hours, find nothing and two minutes after posting you find the answer!

Anyway for future reference which might help someone else here it is:
-------------------------------------
To program the HC remote to control your TV:

1. Turn TV on
2. Press the TV button on the HC remote
3. Press and hold 1+3 on the remote until the red light stays lit
4. Point the remote at the TV & press standby. The light will flash every two seconds - each time it's trying a code that will turn off a different brand of TV. At some point it should get to the one that turns off your TV.
5. Immediately press standby once.
6. Immediately press and hold standby again.

Step 5 needs to be done within the two second window before it tries the next code. Step 6 is supposed to be done immediately after that.
-------------------------------------

some tags to help searchers: HOMECHOICE, SILVER, REMOTECONTROL, PROGRAMMING, CODES.
