So we got a new epg and pretty it is but are we gonna get any new channels ie maybe Bravo or anything else???

Is HD material really in the pipeline or is it just a carrot dangling ???


Some answers would be good

I realize the MK mob will not know about this stuff but is there anyone else out there who has a bit of info.

As far as I know Tiscali are seeking HD content deals, but at first they will only be doing push downloads of HD content to the tiscali+ box.

Peoples lines are simply not fast enough for HD. Even the lines getting a full 8meg are not fast enough for live HD.

Here is a quote from a wotsat article:

The Tiscali+ PVR already upscales SD to 1080i/720p, and has a hidden download area like Sky Anytime, which may be used for adding hi-def content via push downloads in future. Managing director Jonathan Sykes said the company is seeking HD content deals.

I don't have anything official on the channel front but I wouldn't hold your breath. There has been no new channels for a long time.

I think if TTV were going to get a bundle of VM channels like living and bravo then they would have got them a long time ago.
