Personally I would have liked more OD content and more channels but I do like how catch up tv is now listed and you can now get subtitles - I've only noticed them on the DTT channels. There seems to be no change in speed of channel changes and switching on from standby. And most annoyingly the fan still run on the T+ box when it's on standby!

When do we get hd programming as the epg seems to run hd content??

I think it's much better, even with scart. Am looking forward to hooking up to my proj via HD cable. Widescreen makes more sense. Anyone able to report on pic quality now on hd ready tvs using hd cables?

the colour looks a bit more balanced but the only thing that is improved is the epg pic quality.

Just clear things up:

1. The STB can now display subtitles on DTT (freeview) channels, where
the program includes subtitles. There are currently no subtitles on
VOD or DSL broadcast channels. (By "DTT channel", I mean a channel
where the current source is DTT, even if it can also be sourced over
DSL).

2. The EPG is now fixed at a 16:9 aspect ratio. If the STB is configured
for a 16:9 TV, it fills the whole screen. If the STB is configured
for a 4:3 TV, then the EPG is permanently letterboxed to preserve the
aspect ratio.

3. The EPG is in HD resolution, so looks significantly better over HDMI
than over SCART.
