Mass Effect Book Question?

Hi

Anyone know what the first book in the series is as there are two? I cant really seem to find anywhere where they say where the books come in?

Is it Mass Effect Revelation then Game then Ascention?

Or

Mass Effect Revelation then Ascention then Game

Or

Mass Effect Ascention then Revalation then Game

I know they are published in different dates but that doesnt mean that is the order in which they should be read.
