Bush To Write A Book

Bush adds writing a book to his to-do list | Books | guardian.co.uk

Wow, that's going to be a lot of writing for his ghost writer.

Wonder how big the pictures will be and whether it will have a Ladybird down the spine.

I think they are just swapping out Elmo for Bush and re-releasing it.

Apparently Bush will be required to write at least 10 pages himself, so your daughter will probably be at college.

Hi,

I think it's fab that Georgie W is getting into writing! Good on him!

Admittedly, I'm not quite sure just how popular "The Ladybird Guide To Being A Dips*it" is going to prove to most readers!

Talking Re: Bush To Write A Book

Hi,

Maybe he'll write a special book for the alphabet. For example.

A is for Afghanistan (A country I invaded.)
A is also for Abu Gharaib (It's just like Oz: it doesn't exist)

B is for Blair (He's my best friend.)

C is for Catastrophe, Cock-Up and Clueless. (That's 3 ways to describe me.)
C is also for Condoleeza. (I just love that lady.)

D is for Dumbass. (Self-explanatory)

E is a Drug I like lots. (Oops, sorry about that Dad!)

F is for Foot-In-Mouth (I make a lot of these. ALSO SEE "Q" for Quotes!)

G is for Gormless, ('cause that's what everyone thinks of me)

H is for Hurricanes (I knew, but didn't know where)

I is for Ignorant (because that's just me)

J is for Jugs (pass me the milk please)

K is for Katrina (my failure to act)

M is for Middle East (I just love to invade Iranistan!)
M is also for Muppet (Brian Henson's invited me on to Sesame Street. He thinks I'll fit right in.)

N is for 9/11 (The day I got caught, reading in class.)

O is for Organised Chaos (well, that's what I'm saying my career was)

P is for Practice, Practice, Practice (I still didn't get the hang of being a President)

Q is for Quotes, and that old saying in Tennessee "I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again."

R is for Richer Me (I'm simply made of money now.)

S is for Size 8 (the shoe that was thrown at me.)

T is for Tony Blair (Did I say how much that guy means to me?)

U is for Umbridge (Not my home town!)

V is for Victorious (That's me, through-and-through.)

W is for WMD (But not on my watch)

X is for Cross ('cause people keep swearing at me)

Y is for Huh (I really don't get the question you're all asking.)

Z is for Zebra (I love them road markings you have in England.)

And so on, and so forth!

In fact, if any AV Forum members wishes to continue, with decent or alternate (read, funny) examples for the rest of the alphabet, then feel free to do so. We can then get Ladybird to publish it as "George W Bush Learns To Count... The Days Till His Career Hits The Skids Forever!"

Re: Bush To Write A Book

I know it's fashionable to make jokes at George Bush's expense claiming that he is unintelligent when in reality he is probably far more intelligent than anyone contributing to this thread but I find his gaffes rather endearing as they show that he is human rather than an automaton which is what so many seem to prefer.

I strongly disagree with his policies but that has nothing to do with his intelligence levels.

Speak for yourself Ian , thanks very much, quite a statement to suggest everybody particpating in this thread is far less intellegent than Bush.

I would say many of his policies are down to his intellegence or lack therof , that and the fact the guy can barely string a sentance together lends me to believe he's barely the brightest candle.

Why on earth you would believe he's "far more intelligent" than anybody in this thread , gawd only knows. What evidence we have of GWB's intellegence is scant indeed.

Don't judge us all by your intellectual prowess :-)
