Artemis Fowl series and other favourites

I've started to wonder after reading the Artemis Fowl series for what must be at least the 10th time if anyone else was so addicted to these books as I am? I read alot of books and wondered if anyone else had any favourites to suggest? running out of ideas. Thanks.

Re: Artemis Fowl series and other favourites

When I read them to my son, I quite enjoyed them.

That was a while ago - I guess there may be one or two more now - should check them out.

Cheers,

Nigel

Re: Artemis Fowl series and other favourites

I was wondering if anyone had any book suggestions? I'm out of reading material at the moment. Are the Sherclock holmes books any good? Or any other Detective type books.
Thanks.

It appears I didn't after all - I was confused.

Spoke to my son and he said that it was the 'Bartimaeus Trilogy' books by Jonathon Stroud that I liked.

I asked him about Artemis Fowl because I'm sure I've seen at least one book around the house and he said "Yes I've read some of them but I didn't like them"

Cheers,

Nigel

And i followed the Alex Rider series for about 5 novels, probably a whole load more of those by now aswell.

Yeah. Theres 7 so far i believe and another one to follow. Movie is in the writing too so that should be good. They do get better as they go along. The first one is more to show you the story line.
