Anyone read Christopher Brookmyre?

I browsed through a few of his books at lunchtime and they seem right up my street. Reviews also sound promising, however I'd be interested to hear from anyone who's read his stuff - what's your take on him? Is his style similar to Irvine Welsh?

Re: Anyone read Christopher Brookmyre?

Iron Giant beat me to it, I enjoyed Pandaemonium and its not supposed to be one of his best books, so I can recommend him as I too will be seeking out some of his back catalogue. Not really read much Irvine Welsh, but I will say Brookmyre is witty, well observed and street wise, which I believe is attributed to Welsh too.
