Mystery - Thriller recommendations

Here are my Mystery - Thriller recommendations and i'm currently looking for my next book and would like to hear others.

Anything by LEE CHILD and his great character JACK REACHER.

His lastest book

Lee Child: GONE TOMORROW

It's two a.m. in Manhattan on a subway car hurtling uptown. Jack Reacher sits sprawled out, heading nowhere in particular, observing his environment. A few tired faces; some weary men and women. Nothing remarkable in that, unless you have Reacher's training. Because the woman he sees sitting across from him is the textbook example of a suicide bomber.

Michael Connelly: scarecrow

Forced out of the Los Angeles Times amid the latest budget cuts, newspaperman Jack McEvoy decides to go out with a bang, using his final days at the paper to write the definitive murder story of his career.

He focuses on Alonzo Winslow, a 16-year-old drug dealer in jail after confessing to a brutal murder. But as he delves into the story, Jack realizes that Winslow's so-called confession is bogus. The kid might actually be innocent.
Jack is soon running with his biggest story since The Poet made his career years ago. He is tracking a killer who operates completely below police radar--and with perfect knowledge of any move against him. Including Jack's.

Iv'e heard about Lee Child before but never got round to buying any of his books, i think i'll get one now.

Anyway i love the books by Andy Mcnab, his first one (Remote control) is an excelent page turner. He's created a great charecter in Nick Stone.

Re: Mystery - Thriller recommendations

I'll third the vote for Lee Child - he is the only thriller writer where I usually end up getting the Hard Back - because I can't wait.

Re: Mystery - Thriller recommendations

Child 44 by Tom Rob Smith is a great thriller, and gives an interesting insight into how society operated in communist Soviet Union.
