cheap blank blu-ray disks

anyone know where you can get cheap (comparitively speaking) blu-ray disks. Had a look around, bigpockets seem to be one of the cheapest, but still a bit steep.

Re: cheap blank blu-ray disks

I normally use APR Media £7.62 per disc, not sure how that compares though.

Edit: just had a look at Bigpockets - they have them for £3.69, I think that's probably the best you are going to get, did you try doing a comparison on Kelkoo etc.?

Re: cheap blank blu-ray disks

I paid £3.50 per disc (pack of 10) for Traxdata ones of ebay. They work great in my LG burner and Sony/Samsung BD players. I have seen them down to £3 now.

For BD-RE's, I only recommend Verbatim or TDK. They are £7 for a 25GB. I cannot get the LG BD-RE to work in any players and I have tried more than one disc. It must be something with the dye used.

I have only seen LG and Liteon ones for sale myself. I didn't know Panasonic, Sony and Pioneer did them.

It's also great to see 25GB being burned in 20 minutes. I couldn't believe it the first time I did it.

Yes, but as you can see the Liteon & LG are the best of the bunch supporting all speeds, in fact the Liteon can burn x2 @ x4 .
