Re: Question On Some HD-DVD's

Depends on where you buy the disc as I dont think more than a handfull of films were released in the UK as combo's but they were quite common in the US.

Off the top of my head I know that Superman Returns was released in the US as a combo.

The UK Superman Returns was single sided. I have combo UK discs of Smokin' Aces and Star Trek Season 1. I think series 1 of the BBC Robin Hood was a combo as well. I also have the US Children Of Men as a combo and my player doesn't like it.

Cheers

Re: Question On Some HD-DVD's

US versions of 16 Blocks, Superman Returns, Firewall, Hot Fuzz, The Lake House, No Reservations and Accepted were combos. The others were always single sided AFAIK.

As said above, combos were a rarity over here (TV boxsets excepted), so if you find a UK version of the above discs then they should be single sided.

ah thanks a million mate, I hate having to treat discs like they are portable nukes when handling them. Are they specifically labeled Combo or something else to identify them or is it just pot luck ?

I did start collecting the A-Team discs and Knightriders but then I got a version that was double sided and have been scared to purchase anymore seasons.
