All BluRay films are 1080p/24.

Re: Blu ray discs: Do they say if they output 24 Fs

There has been talk of a new '24p logo' for those Blu ray discs that are compatible with a 24p output. For the 'video' discs this will obviously never work but I have yet to see any logo yet for commercial discs in practice.

Are you sure, my TV tells me what res my TV is rinning in when I switch between devices.

I turn on PS3 it says 1080P in the corner, same with my laptop running through the TV.

Only Blu-rays that say 1080P/24 on my TV when I layed them were Superbad and 300.

Thanks for the replies.
I was sure I read somewhere that not all blu ray discs had 24 Fs.
I must be mistaken.

Re: Blu ray discs: Do they say if they output 24 Fs

No you are not mistaken, not all discs are 24p, from the top of my head you can also have:

HD 1080 60i [1920x1080]
HD 1080 50i [1920x1080]
HD 1080 24p [1920x1080]
HD 1080 60i [1440x1080]
HD 1080 50i [1440x1080]
HD 1080 24p [1440x1080]
HD 720 60p
HD 720 50p
HD 720 24p
SD 480 60i
SD 576 50i

HD 1080 24p 1920 x 1080 is just the most common.
