Question Digital Video Essentials HD Combo ???

Hi,

I ordered the Digital Video Essentials HD Cmbo Disc with a Stard side
version. I was wondering if anyone used the program and knew how
good it is.

Also for the standard dvd side can you use it in a dvd upscaler player??

Thanks for any help..

Re: Digital Video Essentials HD Combo ???

It's fine mate, no worries.
Don't know what you mean by program, it's a DVD that shows you how to adjust settings and displays pictures to allow you to do so. It is well worth having, IMO.

Good question about the upscaler though.
I'd guess you use the standard version, but might be wrong.

One side is an HD-DVD and the other is a bog standard DVD that will work in any player, upscaler or not.

Exclamation Re: Digital Video Essentials HD Combo ???

Hi,

I have not received the disc yet, but I read somewhere it is better
to use the standard side to calibrate HDTV because HD side comes
with no instructions.

Is this True ??

Thanks for the help..

Re: Digital Video Essentials HD Combo ???

Go through the SD DVD side with the instructions first to get to grips with it and then the HD side... of course if your display has different settings for different inputs even better. Get the SD inputs calibrated then the HD inputs.

There is a website where you can download the destructions for reference... can't find link at the mo.. sorry.
