Really looking forward to getting this as I missed it at the Cinema before Christmas. Have downloaded the 1080p trailers and it looks fantastic.

Looking on various sites the R1 release date is anything from Feb 26th - End of March?

Anybody have a firm date or has already ordered it?

I ordered the BD from movietyme and had it delivered last week and thought it was a very good film.

Crikey that is early. Hopefully that's the case with the HD-DVD, although I doubt it, as they have different release dates.

Edit: Just ordered it from DVDWorldUSA and it has the release date as today so should be despatched shortly.

Like steviela360, I ordered the Blu-Ray from movietyme. IMHO it's the film of the year, I'd be very interested to hear what the HD-DVD is like, might even buy it if it's a combo so I'd have it to play when my hi-definition players are not available etc (i.e. CRT set, wrong room, loaning to a friend).

DVDSlimited have it listed as arriving on Monday, so the release date must be Feb 26th which fits in with the three week delay between the BD and HD DVD.
I'm looking forward to seeing the movie again.

The BD has DD 5.1 while the HD DVD has a DD+ soundtrack
