hope this turns out to be true, but wish I had found out yesterday as deepdiscount had this on 3 for 2 which ended yesterday! still hopefully I can pick it up cheap somewhere.

Agreed .... it was a good film but i cant help feeling that the lead vampire belongs behind a desk with nhs glasses doing accounts or something ... he just has that look about him.

Yes mine is being prepared for shipping with DVD Pacific, only downside I picked cheapest shipping so probably take 14 or 15 days. Still at $31.52 or £16.01 its nearly £2 cheaper then movietyme

The main baddie (head vampire) dude reminded me of the geezer out of the Pet Shop Boys ! Didn't find it so scary after that !

Anyway, is the UK blu-ray and US blu-ray the same in terms of specs and extras ? Thanks.

according to dvdtimes they both include commentary, 8 Featurettes and an enhanced photo gallery (blu exclusive). so yes.

Really want this but may have to wait to next month due to buying a few too many blus this month!

Just got mine yesterday, I can confirm that it's region free, though it does say Region A on the back of the box.

Only gave it a quick glance, picture looks very nice though, colour me impressed!

Top notch, The cinematography is amazing in this movie especially the first few scenes. Looks incredible. The sound is also very impressive.

Second those opinions - watched this last night after missing it at the cinema and was really impressed, both with the film and the transfer. The celebrated tracking shot over the town was so detailed, I went back several times to try and catch everything that was going on! He he, saddo (or sick pup) that I am....

Great film, great transfer.
