Any idea if Rendition is coming in HD

I see the R1 DVD is scheduled for release on Feb 19th, but is the any word of this coming on Blu-ray or HD DVD? I think New Line support both - don't they?

They do - and I am keen to get this title as well. Saw it at the cinema and enjoyed it a great deal.

Obviously since I started this thread New Line have switch to Blu-ray only.

I've just noticed that the UK Blu-ray of Rendition has been removed for pre-order from most (Amazon, Play, HMV, Sendit etc) sites

Still no sign of US release either

Yeah, I've just notcied that. I don't understand why they've removed the blu-ray pre-orders, it's not as if New Line has gone hd-dvd only.

Yup, just received an email from sendit stating it has been withdrawn. Anyone know why? I was really looking forward to seeing this

Zavvi still has it for preorder with a release date of 24 March.

Yes I also had it pre-ordered from SendIt on UK Blu-ray (hoping it would be region free as I have a region A PS3).

I got that e-mail last night. For some reason it is still listed in their website and I've e-mailed them (this morning) asking them to explain but as yet no word back...

Had to re-order from SendIt as they never re-instated my original order that they canceled.

Anyway disc received today.

Not sure if this has been posted elsewhere, but disc is region locked (B). Will not play on my region A PS3 - thankfully my region B Panasonic BD30 arrived yesterday

Hope to watch tomorrow night.

Have had a quick flick through the disc and can tell you from what I've seen the PQ is superb (very clean and sharp). Need to watch properly to comment on the sound.
