Broadly speaking, and ignoring the 'little' studios on each side, support in the US is as follows:

HD DVD
- Universal
- Warner/New Line
- Paramount/Dreamworks
- Weinstein

Blu-ray
- Fox/MGM
- Sony
- Warner/New Line
- Lionsgate
- Disney

...and in Europe Studio Canal and 2Entertain support both formats. As you can see then - a fairly fundamental split in support

Hardware is more complex. Most of the Japanese giants have initially declared for Blu-ray with just Toshiba and it's partners in the HD DVD camp. However the core SoC reference designs are moving towards dual format so I don't think there is really much doubt that this is the way things are heading: Samsung and LG are there already of course.
