Has anyone got "THE GAME" on UK HD-DVD ?

How does it compare to the poor US HD-DVD ?

Better transfer of the picture ? More extras ?

Anyone ?

The US transfer is pretty good, sure it's soft at times but thats the way the film is. I can't imagine the UK release will be any different.

I've got the US version and wasn't overly impressed, it may be as Jeff says just a matter of the source material, it was a while ago now I last watched it so I would have to take another look, but not one I'd rush out to buy in HD now I've got it. ...

Poor extras as well but it's an underrated film so still worth a purchase.

DVDTimes says...

The back cover fails to list any extra features, but the small prints lists “Special Features Running Time” at 2hrs 08mins approx and the tech specs box lists Special Features presented in 480i/p SD with English 2.0 audio. We sincerely hope the lack of an extras list is just an oversight and the extras from the UK Special Edition DVD are carried over, rather than it being a barebones offering like the US HD DVD (where the disc matched the barebones DVD release).

Just read a confirmation at AVS that this has no extras bar a teaser trailer. And it seems to be the same transfer too.
