Cars BD - amazon uk showing 1st October release?

I thought release date for Cars in the US was 6th November, and assumed UK would be later.
But Amazon uk and hmv uk are both showing it available for pre-order with a release data of 1st October. Anyone know if this is correct?
By the way, this looks like it will be packed with extra features, and I love the film, so I'm really looking forward to this one. I know some people don't like this as much as other Pixar movies, but my whole family really enjoyed it. For me it was meet the Robinson's which was the disappointing pixar release.

Meet The Robinsons is not a Pixar release,Just Walt Disney.If you've seen the logo on the film is because of the new deal acquirement that Disney did with Pixar.But I promise you Pixar did not have anything to do with Robinsons,so there credit is still golden.

You're absolutely correct, I don't know why I assumed Robinsons was Pixar.

Where is the cheapest UK Region 2 disc for pre-order ??

Asda have it at £16.93 - free delivery
Amazon.uk is over £20

There must be somewhere better ??
