Question Bad Boys 1 & 2 ....

.... anyone know when they might be coming out on blu-ray / HD dvd ?

They are Sony films so the chances of them coming out on HD-DVD is very small.
On some recent Blu-ray releases there have been adverts for BD with Bad Boys II on there (along with Spider-man 2), so you might see that this year.

Oh yeah, they are SONY aren't they, so of course they will be blu-ray

Damn !

I prefer the HD dvd releases to be honest, as they are region free, the blu-ray discs are hit and miss on region coding so if the USA disc comes out first and is not compatible on UK players, we may have to endure a wait for the UK release

Just bought a PS3 recently though and pretty pleased with its performance.

I was demo'd a new Pioneer blu ray player @ £1,000 and that kept on crashing and having to re-boot and took AGES compared to the "vastly cheaper" PS3 ... oh which is "also" a cracking games console
