I just bought POTC - Dead Mans Chest on Blu Ray from Play.com. Played it on my PS3. About 2 thirds of the way through, round about the fight on the water wheel the movie starts to freeze for a second then continue. a few seconds later it freezes again but this time its a slightly longer duration.

I restarted playback and skipped to the scene but it happened again. I then skipped to the next chapter and the rest of the film played with no problem.

I am thinking that its probably just a problem with the disc and will return it for an exchange but just thought I would ask if anyone else has had a problem with this disc on the PS3 or any other player for that matter. I have had no trouble with any other Blu Ray disc.

I've had no problems playing this disk on my PS3. You haven't got a scratch or a little hair on it or something have you?

All fine on my PS3 as well. Get a replacement copy!

I had a good look for dirt, hair or a scratch and its fine.

I have asked a friend with another PS3 to try it. Whatever happens I will ask for a replacement disc.
