why isnt HD.... HD?

Hia fellas im gonna get a tosh hd e1 soon, and i always take a look into this forum, from time to time i see a post on about a certain film looking a little grainy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now shouldnt HD BE PERFECT?? or do we have to wait for reviews to tell us how good a film is?? also anyone know of a good hd onl;ine service??

A film's picture will only be as good as the quality of the transfer....just as it is with SD DVD.

Plus the grain could come from the original film.

as for HD onliune service www.lovefilm.com seemt o have a good collection for rental if that is what you are after.

or as is the case with some films (Casino Royale begining, Saving Private Ryan) the grain is actually an effect added to the film for... effect

and its still HD btw.... and probably why you notice it more
