anyone know the offical release date---will it have english
option thou or will it have to be watched in subtitles

God, should I double dip or not ? what a fantastic film it is, utterly compelling stuff, but the dvd was pretty good, and I'm not sure. If somebody could let us know the quality I would be very grateful.

Having a scour on the internet and found the following two 720p trailers:

I found the SD-DVD better than going to the Cinema! In our local VUE they have the ambient lighting too high and because this film is really dark it hurt me poor 'blinkers'. Watched the SD-DVD at home and it was much better, but still had to change the Panny Plasma from 'Cinema' to 'Auto' to get the best out of all those dark scenes. Hopefully the HD-DVD will be even better, top film as well.

I was working/being looked after at the Le Man 24 hour over the weekend and picked up a copy of the French Home Cinema Magazine Les Annees Laser, which has cover mounted sampler HD-DVD/DVD (inc WMV HD) for Le Labyrinthe De Pan on the front.

Spun the HD-DVD side on my A1, looks very nice, contains the following:

3 small extracts of the film in VC-1 and DTS Master Audio

Trailer

Making of

HD-DVD Experience (same as on most HD-DVD titles)

THX II Optimizer

I've checked this out in HD (with eng subs)

and i have to say it does look bloody fantastic!! - (was full screen too - i.e 1.85 ratio)

one of the best for sure.

This is still by far the best film i have seen this year , to me the Spanish language just adds to the overall feel of the film, and it would lose sooooooo much if it was dubbed in English
