The Meaning of Life - HD DVD

Shipped today from Movietyme. Looking forward to Mr Creosote in his HD glory.

Also "Dead Silence" is processing so I assume that will be shipped later as well. Don't really know what to expect of this but I was a big "Saw" fan so hoping for something special.

I haven't watched it properly but I had a quick flick through and it looks really nice at first glance. A major upgrade from the SD version.

Watched this yesterday. Excellent effort with noticeably old film stock. I think it actually doesn't quite measure up visually to restores like Bullitt and other old films; HD resolution shows up some very obvious focal plane issues in scenes such as the boardroom fight but the transfer is also very clearly high resolution - plenty of detail in distant shots and facial expressions.
