Purchased the UK version of Basic Instinct the other day and noticed that the cover only mentions DTS HD High Resolution Audio for the English track, but I believe the French version has a Master Audio track. Has anyone got the French one to confirm this?

Having compared the disc and menu's it seems identical to the Studio Canal French releases (i.e. opens with the Studio Canal logo, you pick your language etc). When picking the soundtrack the menu was identical to the French release (in this case The Fog), in so much as the menu doesn't mention Master Audio specifically just DTS.

Does anyone know if its just a mistake on the artwork by Momentum or have we been short changed with the audio track in the UK?

Also does anyone know of any way of checking if a disc has DTS HD or DTS HD MA (my Tosh player only tells me its a DTS soundtrack playing)? Do any of the software players show this info?

Don't know how accurate the tech details on this site are but DTS-HD MA 5.1 English is listed for the French release:
