I'm still waiting for my two BDs which were sent last Wednesday, one of which is a steelbook. If that arrives "vacuum sealed" then I will not be using HMV for future orders as that is unacceptable. I've already had one steelbook from them sent in a jiffy bag but I knew about it, thanks to these forums,[B] so was able to place a cushion under my letterbox which prevented it from being damaged. |
It seems stupid now that I've read it, but I've never thought to do that

I can't complain because I've not had too many steelbooks damaged when delivered, but I will definitely try it out in future and minimise any damage at all! What that doesn't stop, however, is the damages that occur during transit - if only we could find a way to put a cushion under the package the whole way!
